ART 307 - Project 1; Vase

Before I start posting my research and ideas for project 1, I'd like to mention a few thoughts I have about my object; a vase. When I think of a traditional vase, I think of a delicate object, usually glass, that you’d admire from a safe distance, and in a stable environment. I'd want to avoid bumping into it or disturbing it in any way, for fear that I may break the flower's fragile container. So as I research this object I'm going to look for traits that differ from these traditional images in my head.
