So here's the design I chose for the top layer of my band ring. Might pierce some tiny holes in the bottom layer too, not sure yet. I'll see how it looks when I solder them together and then decide.

ART 307 Gelatin Samples
Sooo my first attempt at gelatin molds I added RIT fabric dye to the boiling water which resulted in a gross chemical reaction. While stirring the mix with a wooden dowel, the gelatin substance attached to the dowel and separated itself from the rest of the liquid mix.
Here's what I mean...
My second mold went better, I used red wine with my boiling water. But I struggled getting them out of the mold in one piece once they had been out of the fridge for awhile.

I want my band ring design to have cut outs in both the top and bottom layers, I also want the design to compliment the design I used for my cuff bracelet.
I research circles in nature, paisley patterns, flowers petals & leaves, and geometric patterns to get ideas for the design...
